Google Picasa 2.7 for Linux

Google has released a new beta version of Picasa for Linux. Picasa 2.7 Beta requires WINE to run, which would indicate that this isn’t a 100% native Linux port of Google’s popular photo organizing tool. But it does work well with your Linux desktop, seeking out all the photos stored on your PC and allowing you to sort them by albums or folders.

Google Reader updates

Two new features in Google Reader.The first new feature is drag and drop feed organization. Microsoft released Office Mobile 6.1

Microsoft finally released an updated version of Office Mobile with support for Office 2007 documents.That means Windows Mobile 5.0/6 users can finally open and edit DOCX, PPTX, and XLSX files. Office Mobile 6.1 is a free upgrade for some users, but others will have to fork out some cash if they want the latest and greatest. This is the first time Microsoft has sold a version of Office Mobile directly to consumers.
