Windows Vista SP1 RC Released

Windows Vista Service Pack 1 RC includes all previously released updates for the operating system. This update also includes a small number of new functionalities, which do not significantly change customers’ experience with the operating system.

Here are a few fun facts about the release:

• Vista SP1 contains about 2500 fixes
• 500 of those fixes are based on security
• 20 percent of the fixes are a direct result of customer requests
• There are 24 different releases in 38 languages
